Barksdale AFB has visiting Airman Quarters, visiting Officer Quarters and Temporary loding, which is provided by the Barksdale Inn. Availability varies by season, so reservations are always recommended. The Lodging Desk is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The surrounding community also has several local hotels/motels that tend to offer military specials.

If military personnel are on orders, they will be allowed to lodge commercially if sufficient quarters on base are not available; a non-availability statement from Barksdale Air Force Base is required.
